(don’t be a brain on a stick)

We know what food is good for us, yet we choose to ignore that.

We know love of money is the root of all kinds of evil, yet we embrace stinginess and envy.

We know what habits harm us, yet we call addiction and overindulgence “liberty.”

We know that in order to become “great” we need to humble ourselves and serve, yet we promote ourselves, brag, boast and talk of our legacy.

We know that pride is sin, yet we compare ourselves to others.

We know that we should treat others as more important than ourselves, yet we love to keep others down.

Knowledge is not power, wisdom is.

Unless we become doers and not merely hearers, we miss the point.

But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. James 1:22

The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you. Philippians 4:9
