Saturday 8:00 PM load slow cooker

7:30 AM – cup of coffee, stroopwaffels, cheerios, hardboiled egg

8:30 set slow cooker to low, but casually, like it’s not work, you know.

9:17 cast a cursory wave and a wistful, knowing smile-smirk over to the hungover neighbor in his bathrobe

9:18 say a prayer thanking the Lord that you are not a Sabbath breaker, or an Arminian or a drunk like that neighbor of yours.

9:20 arrive at church for 9:30 worship; rear pew secured.

10:46-10:55 Get a coffee, talk to someone “in here” about someone “out there…”

11:00 -11:45 Sunday school video featuring yet another look at Romans. This was predestined, so, ride it out.

11:47 Depart the church parking lot for home

12:22 Arrive home

12:45 Eat lunch from slow cooker, allow each one to scoop out their own portions, lest work take place

1:05 Seconds, of course, also not eagerly, but so we do not waste.

1:20 Pie with Ice Cream, (don’t t waste any of this either.

2:00 sit around and do absolutely nothing;

2:45 fall asleep on the couch

4:15 wake up

4:20 more pie, and a coffee

4:30 leave for afternoon service

4:58 arrive at church

6:11 leave for home

6:40 arrive at home, watch the sunset, secure in the notion of observing another idle, somnambulant Lord’s Day.
